Gleam clones the gameplay of a very popular PlayStation Portable puzzle game. I created it because I wanted to see if I could make a similar game targeted to an older platform that I was already fond of -- the Game Boy Advance.
Many thanks to Andreas Inghe (MaDSouL) for contributing his excellent music for this project.

Rectangular sets of identical tiles (four or more) are cleared by the timeline as it passes.
A combo (score multiplier) begins whenever the timeline enters a third consecutive column containing clearable tiles, and every column after that with clearable tiles increments the combo counter. Combos cannot wrap the screen.
The P.U.R.I. section of the UI displays "points until rank increase." Your rank is your position in the high scores table.
TIP: The timeline can work against you when dropping tiles in its vicinity, as tiles must be at rest the moment the timeline passes for them to be cleared.
Specials are obtained whenever a special tile is cleared (the behavior of special tiles will already be known to you if you've played the game Gleam clones).
| Pause Timeline (PT) | This pauses the timeline temporarily (making it easier to craft some very large combos) |
| Slow Timeline (ST) | Slows down the timeline temporarily |
| Fast Timeline (FT) | Speeds up the timeline temporarily |
| Clear Column (CC) | Clears any tiles directly under the timeline |
| Invert Column (IC) | Inverts any tiles directly under the timeline |
| Randomize Column (RC) | Randomizes any tiles directly under the timeline |
TIP: The last two specials are useful for clearing tiles deep in the pile.
Thanks for this cool cover art MaDSouL!
